New programming, commissioning and maintenance tool by Turck makes advantages of the FDT/DTM technology available for factory automation
09/07 – April 3, 2007
With the I/O-Assistant 3.0 Turck presents a complete new generation of its established programming, commissioning and maintenance tool for fieldbus and interface systems on the Hannover fair. In contrast to the previous versions the I/O-Assistant 3.0 is based on the standardised FDT technology and thus supports also other products of the sensor, fieldbus, connectivity and interface expert.
The modular software concept provides the possibility to use the DTM (Device Type Manager) of the I/O-Assistant 3.0 also for various other frame applications. This reduces the complexity of numerous systems and makes the overall solution manageable. All relevant device functions become transparent and are visualised user-friendly. Together with a pleasant Look & Feel, an optimal, efficient and selective use of data is provided.
The I/O-Assistant 3.0 supports the Turck I/O systems BL20 and BL67, as well as excom and various other solutions from the interface technology portfolio of the company.
