  “Integrator BL20”

Turck expands its IP20 I/O System with ECO modules and ECO gateway, motor starter, RFID module and programmable gateway

10/07 – April 3, 2007

Numerous expansions have completed the Turck BL20 I/O system for Profibus, CANopen, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP. Now available are the new extremely compact Economy modules that can house up to 16 I/Os on only 12.5 mm width. No tools are necessary, thanks to the integrated connectors with “push-in” spring-balancing technology. The ECO modules are complemented by the new ECO Gateway for Profibus DP and CANopen, which also celebrates its premiere in Hanover.

Additionally to the ECO modules, Turck presents motor starter modules that can control the motors as a direct or reversing starter up to 5 kW with minimal wiring effort. New RFID modules for incorporating the BL ident system and a programmable Gateway, that can relieve higher-ranking programmable logic controllers, are also available. The gateway is available for EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP and programmable with CoDeSys. The user has the conventional languages LD (ladder diagram), FBD (function block diagram), IL (instruction list), ST (structured text) and SFC (sequential function chart) available for programming.

All-purpose solution: Turck’s BL20 IO system has been completed with numerous expansions, from ECO modules to motor starters
