Turck the sensor, fieldbus and interface specialist has assigned Frank Rohn responsibility for world-wide sales in the field of Process Automation in addition to his tasks as Head of Product Management in this area. The 42 year old engineer has contributed significantly to the expansion of the PA business field over the last number of years. The organisational changes underline the growing significance of the expanding PA market for Turck and meet the requirements of current market forces.
“Process automation is subject to the international project business like no other area of business, and is also highlighted by strong distinctions between the applications and technologies“, Frank Rohn explained, who represents the company in numerous committees. His participation in these committees includes the ZVEI and as a board member in the PACTware consortium and as a member in the Executive Committee of the FDT group. “The new structure accommodates the specific demands of PA customers to a very large degree”, Mr. Rohn stated.
Over the last six years Turck has continuously expanded world-wide PA sales in all important countries with their own sales teams. The new structure will enable even stronger support for the national and international team and will improve the focus on the pursuance of projects.
The sales activities in the Factory Automation area are not affected by the change. Here Turck builds upon – with the exception of the centrally managed world-wide Automotive Team – the regional responsibilities in the individual subsidiaries. Christoph Zöller is the head of sales responsible for the German market and the world-wide Automotive Team.
