Chinese Minister Visits Turck Stand

09/12 – The fair visit of several delegations underscores Turck's position in the Chinese automation market

Turck started the 2012 trade fair year with a successful Hannover Messe. At its stand in Hall 9, the automation specialist could not only welcome more visitors than last year, but also several delegations of high ranking guests from this year's partner country, China. Turck managing directors Ulrich Turck and Christian Wolf, together with Qingxing Xu, the sales manager of Turck China, thus also received Miao Wei, the Minister of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China. The guests obtained first-hand information about Turck's solution portfolio for industrial automation. They showed particular interest in the extensive range of RFID and fieldbus solutions.
“The visit of the Chinese delegations, especially of Minister Miao Wei, underscores Turck's position in the Chinese automation market,” Wolf explains. “We have been represented by a wholly owned subsidiary in Tianjin since as far back as 1994. Today with nearly 500 employees, Turck China has grown to become one of the most important suppliers of sensor, interface, fieldbus and connectivity products in China. Turck has been the market leader in China for sensor technology for years.”

According to Wolf, the reasons for Turck's success are primarily due to the fact that Turck has intensively accompanied the development of the Chinese automation market from the very start: “With our own production and development in Tianjin, we are able offer top quality products and solutions quickly and reliably, particularly when these are required specifically for the Chinese market.”
