Turck Locations in Germany

Turck employs more than 1,800 people at its four sites in Germany alone. Sales and marketing activities are coordinated in Mülheim an der Ruhr. The Turck companies in Halver, Beierfeld and Detmold are responsible for development and production.

Mülheim an der Ruhr

Marketing and sales

Hans Turck GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Mülheim an der Ruhr, is the international sales and marketing center of the global Turck Group. More than 360 employees are employed at this site.

A modern logistics center is responsible for deliveries from the major urban district city of Mülheim an der Ruhr in the western Ruhr region to the company's subsidiaries and sales partners around the globe. Mülheim an der Ruhr is home to around 170,000 people.

Halver

Development and production

Werner Turck GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in the town of Halver in the Sauerland, is responsible for the fields of development and production within the Turck Group. Premises spanning thousands of square meters offer capacity for research, development, production and training. The more than 800 employees who work at the site in Halver primarily focus on developing Turck's innovative range of products, particularly the range of sensors. Halver is located on the western edge of the Sauerland and is home to around 16,500 people.

Beierfeld

Development and production

Turck Beierfeld GmbH is headquartered in Grünhain-Beierfeld in the German rural district of Erzgebirgskreis in Saxony. Turck has maintained electronics production of the highest technical standard at this site since 1990. At the Beierfeld site, around 550 employees develop and produce sophisticated electronics solutions for both the Turck Group and other clients. Grünhain-Beierfeld is home to around 6000 people and is situated to the south-east of Zwickau, close to the Czech border.

Detmold

Fieldbus and RFID system development

Turck Electronics GmbH in Detmold is one of the Turck Group's competence centers for the development of fieldbus and RFID systems. Around 50 employees work at the site in Detmold, developing and testing hardware as well as firmware, PC software and microelectronic equipment for Turck's pioneering system solutions. Home to 76,000 people, Detmold is the largest city in the Lippe district, halfway between Hanover and Dortmund.
