The joint study program in mechatronics conveys knowledge in the fields of mechanics, electronics and computer science. The focus is on interdisciplinary approaches to systems in order to coordinate the interaction of mechanical and electronic components as well as intelligent software. The practical mechatronics study program focuses on increasing the degree of automation in production plants and products as well as the application of simulation methods for the drafting, design and optimization of mechatronic systems, processes and sequences.
