Technical Product Designer

Turck locations: Beierfeld, Halver

Technical product designers are involved in the development of technical products. In cooperation with the development department, they produce detailed design plans using CAD systems, for example for the modernization of machine tools. In doing so, they observe the relevant drawing standards and enter production-oriented dimensioning. They also maintain the associated technical support documents.

Tasks
  • PC-based design of components, assemblies and equipment
  • Creating and applying technical documentation
  • Process and project management
  • Assessing production, assembly and joining processes
  • Calculation and simulation
Duration of training
  •  3.5 years
School leaving certificate
  • Secondary school leaving certificate, „Realschulabschluss“ (Beierfeld)
  • Vocational extension certificate, „Fachoberschulreife“ (Halver)
Prior knowledge
  • Mathematics, physics, English, German, computer science and craftsmanship
